Our garden was open again on 9th and 10th June. The sun shone throughout the weekend it was a great success.
We were slightly down on our last year 952 visitors due to many gardens around us only opening on Sunday and probably attending Trooping of the Colour. However, it picked up on Sunday and 789 adults and 47 children came to Gledhow Gardens. All were delighted by our garden. Some visitors like us so much, they come back to us several times to enjoy our beautiful garden. We have had wonderful compliments, of note was the “Fernery” created last year that enchanted so many of our visitors. Many saying it was their favourite garden. This was a successful occasion, a long list of compliments has been typed again, alas too long to include here.
